Always great food and friendly service. You'll find all of the locals getting their Mexican food here! The only thing to keep in mind during the summer is they have no AC, but there are plenty of fans to keep people cool. There is also no heating, but they have a large fireplace in the center to keep people warm.

I love this place!! I've been going here since it opened... And that's a long time and I've never been disappointed... I remember Papa stoking the big fire in the center of the restaurant. Everybody there is like family when you walk in... And of course they know me after being there for ever in a day!! And the biggest treat of all is Mama! Always a smile and a hug... I love everything about this place.. The food is made with love!!!

Stopped by on our way back home from Cuyamaca and so glad we stopped by. We didn't know what to expect when we first walked in but the food is so good and authentic. They have a ton of combination plates with rice and beans included. Their chips and salsa are fresh and delicious- stoked we were given a 2nd round with a bigger bowl of salsa. I got a #18- Carne asada quesadilla and fish taco He got #49- Carne asada burrito and fish taco Definitely worth a visit if you're in Ramona!

I love this place. I’m am 38 years old and I remember eating here when I was 4 years old. I remember always putting coins in the “Chicken Egg dispenser” yea you family owners know what I’m talking about. This is my favorite restaurant in the world!!….. I come here first whenever I come home or am anywhere south of Long Beach. If I’m home for a week I will eat here 3 times that week. Eaten here countless times and I hope when I’m on my death bed, I will be able to wheel myself here, next to the fire pit, and have the last meal at a restaurant I can get to myself.

Oh, if you haven't been here you're missing out. During the summer it's a great place of a cold drink. During the winter is a great place for to watch the fire and a hot drink. Hey, their closed on Wednesdays. Always a great place to be for lunch or dinner and always will be! Derek Wolf 🌺
